Barcode Scanners
In all of the standards we cover, contractors are required to verify that barcodes, RFID, and UID are machine readable at the time of shipment. Mil-Std-129 readers should read Code 39 (sometimes Code 3 of 9) and PDF 417 symbology. Mil-Std-130 readers should read the 2D Data Matrix symbol (also known as Data Matrix ECC 200). RFID readers should read Passive RFID, ultra high frequency or UHF EPC class 1 generation 2 labels & tags. HF or LF readers though they are cheaper, will not work for DoD RFID labels and DoD RFID tags. Browse our readers, sort and filter by key attributes found in the More Shopping Options section in the column to the right. Or you can even call us for help using the Customer Assistance links to the right.
