Printer specifications may vary according to which mil-standards are required. Barcode labeling should be produced with either laser printers or thermal transfer pritners. (Inkjet and Direct-Thermal will not meet compliance requirements). RFID printers have a wireless encoder that programs RFID chips that are on the back of specialized RFID Tags/Labels. Be sure that your product's useful life and operating environment are compatible with adhesive labels for UID. In order to achieve UID quality grading during verification, DPI levels of 300 or more are encouraged.
